I only ended up staying because every other hotel and inn was full during the SO7 concert. The room wasn’t clean, either. The pillowcases were wrinkled and looked unwashed, and I found a man’s hair on one even though I’m a girl with long hair. The Oyo price was wrong too. I booked through it, but when I got there they asked me to pay more than twice as much. Don’t book here.

The rooms were clean and the service was good. It’s very affordable if you’re bringing family from out of town while taking care of college matters. Highly recommended.

For coffee or a meal, there’s a little stall beside the inn with home-cooked food at very affordable prices. It’s near Mulawarman University, in a residential area with boarding houses, so it works well for a stopover or a quick night. Some second-floor rooms are used as student boarding rooms. The facilities are basic, with an en suite bathroom but no desk or wardrobe. There are AC and non-AC rooms with fans. At 175,000 Rupiah a night, each room has AC and an en suite bathroom with a sitting toilet. The water could use attention, maybe management needs to install a filter so it’s clean and clear.

The quiet atmosphere made it easy to sleep well after a long day of sightseeing. It’s a very cheap place that’s still comfortable enough for a peaceful rest. If keeping costs down is your priority, it could be a good choice.
