We found it easy to unwind here, with the sea nearby and a calm feel around the bungalows. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and quick to help. The bar had good food and drinks, and the sunsets were a lovely bonus. A great place for a quiet break. I'd happily return.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the meals. But on a later visit, a staff member behaved inappropriately toward me, which changed how I felt about the stay. Women traveling alone may want to stay alert.

We were yelled at by a waiter after he tried to charge us for cocktails he'd called “free.” I wouldn't go back to this bar. That was our only bad experience on Gili Air, though; people everywhere else were friendly and welcoming. Be careful!

We visited the bar, so I can't comment on the hotel. It's a big, covered venue on the island's west side, and easy to walk to. The staff paid close attention to us, and the live band was professional with a really strong line-up compared with other places. Drinks were reasonably priced, and it's a fun place for an evening out. Check the event days first, as they often have something on Saturdays.

The rooms were lovely, and breakfast was incredible. The people working there were so nice, happy to chat and share tips about the island. There's a great beach for enjoying the sunset, and at night a really good singer adds to the atmosphere. What a wonderful place on Gili air, absolutely worth it. I'd recommend it.
