A short walk takes you to the beach on the sunset side of the island, with fantastic snorkeling off that side too (don’t tell anyone). The rooms have very comfortable beds and good AC, though the showers are cold water only. The bathroom is very large. It’s quiet, with just four rooms tucked behind a small restaurant that serves good food at more than fair prices. Staff are friendly and can arrange just about anything you need. I stayed much longer than expected. Gili Air is a gem, and this is very good value for money.

Great value for an awesome bungalow, with a nice bathroom and air conditioning you can adjust well. The water pressure wasn’t great, but it was good enough. The price was 100 for one person or 150 for two, and we got it down to 120 for two. The curry at the attached restaurant is awesome too!

Giliku Resto next door is a friendly, family-run place with great food and good prices. I came back every day for the juice and spicy curry. Recommended!

This is simple, affordable accommodation at a moderate price, with the basics you need for a comfortable stay. It’s not for anyone looking for extra comfort or perfect cleanliness. There’s air conditioning, a fan, and a cold-water shower. The veranda among the flowers is a nice spot to sit in the evening. There’s also a pleasant attached café with amazing banana pancakes. Friendly staff.
