Parigata Resort & Spa Hotel

You could walk right past the entrance, which is tucked down an alley. Once inside, though, it’s a really nice resort. Our big room was on the first floor beside the pool, and the staff were attentive and always smiling. There’s plenty of food and facilities, too. The beach is barely 100 feet away along a boardwalk made of ceramic tiles 😀. Follow it and you can reach all the luxurious hotels along the beach. Highly recommended in Sanur!

The pool sits in a lovely, quiet spot, though there weren’t enough loungers and umbrellas for everyone. People often left towels on loungers for long stretches without using them, so a clearly explained policy would help. That was our only small complaint during a very enjoyable four-night stay. We felt well looked after, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. The comfortable room had the best bed we’d slept in for weeks. Breakfast had a good mix of continental, American, and lighter healthy options. The resort has genuine four-star amenities, and it’s a short stroll to town and the beach, with local shops, cafés, and the seafront nearby. We’d happily return.

It’s a quiet, relaxing place, and we had a wonderful massage at the hotel. The gardens are beautiful, and the property has an older Balinese style. Staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and on the cool side, and our room was large and very clean. The beds are a bit firm, depending on what you like. A path takes you to the beach in a minute or two. We rented bikes and rode along the beach path, stopping at a number of places. We liked Tootsies on the path near Icon mall, right by the beach. Great price, location, and facilities, and especially great staff. Couldn’t fault it.

Tucked away from the main road, this modest resort has what you need for a peaceful stay in Sanur. From reception, head left for the beach or right for the street. The rooms and pool were great, and the staff were wonderful. We loved the whole place.
