It was cold at night, around 10°, and a bit warmer in the morning at 18° with the sunrise, though the wind still made it cold outside. We asked for a fan, but none was available. The room felt warm and stuffy.

The shower had hot water, which was the one good thing. The rest was a horrible experience: noisy all night, dirty, smelly, moldy, and stuffy. There was no AC or fan. It's a long drive to the viewpoint, and cars kept their engines running right outside our door all night. If you have a choice, don't book here. It was my worst experience, and we complained to the agency that arranged it.

The room itself was okay, but the bathroom was dirty and smelled bad. There were a few breakfast options, but the hotel was so quiet that we didn't eat there. It can do if you need a cheap, last-minute place for Bromo, although it's a drive away.

The hotel is a bit old, but our room was clean, the staff were helpful, and the hot water worked day and night. Breakfast was included for free. We took a Jeep to Penanjakan at 3 AM and got there in time for the amazing sunrise.

Dinner choices were limited, and breakfast was just chicken soup or mie goreng. The room was noisy and not dark at all, and getting hot water was difficult until we asked reception how to use it. It's a nice-looking but very old hotel, far from Bromo volcano. Definitely not good value for money.
