We booked through TikTok after this place popped up on my FYP while I was in Tawang Mangu, but the stay turned out to be a letdown. The admin was incredibly hard to reach, and when my husband and I arrived, nobody was there. We were told to find a room ourselves, after waiting around 30 minutes for confirmation in the parking lot and feeling like idiots, lol. There were several other guests dealing with the same thing. They were confused and grumbling too, since nobody was on site to help and they had to pick their own rooms. Whenever an issue came up, we had to message the admin, who was very slow to respond. If guests are expected, someone should be there to meet them.

The mornings were easy, with pecel and fried food sellers nearby for anyone too lazy to go looking for breakfast. Parking is secure, reserved, and sheltered from rain. Sarangan Lake is only a short walk away, and the atmosphere is quiet and uncrowded, with plantation views. Our room felt new, clean, and fresh smelling. There’s no AC, but it’s already very cold. The spacious bathroom has a water heater and fresh running water. They also provide coffee, tea, sugar, mineral water, soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, a hair cap, comb, and towel. There’s another water heater, a smart TV, and fast Wi-Fi too. On the downside, on the next weekday the room is used for motorbike parking by people from outside. The view straight ahead includes a garbage dump from the resort opposite, though it’s some distance away.

It was easy to get around, and the service was friendly and good. Sarangan Lake is about 100 meters away. I really enjoyed my stay, the place was neat and clean, and there was hot water.

Sarangan Lake is close by, just a short walk away. The mountain view is lovely too, right there when you open the front door, and the place feels comfortable.

The mountain view is right outside, and the place is comfortable and clean. The water is warm and the TV works well. I’d gladly book it again, highly recommended.
