It’s around 200m from the lake, so you don’t have to walk far. The bed was good and Wi-Fi was available, but the bathroom was a bit disappointing. I paid 600 for one night, four days before New Year. Still, I’d recommend it.

The lake is so close that you can see it from the balcony, and the price is reasonable: 300k for a standard room that can fit up to four people. Family rooms come with two or three bedrooms, plus a private living room with a sofa and TV in each room. They provide both hot and cold water, which you really need in that cold weather, and there’s free Wi-Fi on every floor. There’s no option that includes breakfast. One of the most recommendable hotels around Sarangan.

The family room is a good fit, especially if you’re traveling with kids, and the place feels cozy. It’s near the lake, with convenience stores and cafe-restaurants close by. There’s no room service, and the price is reasonable.
