Arcada Bali Bamboo House

Waking up with the sunrise coming through the bamboo was such a magical part of our stay. The architecture is detailed and beautiful, and the whole place feels close to nature while still being luxurious. It felt like a fairytale, the kind of experience you don’t get twice.

My day was completely thrown off when, around noon, the property told me the villa was no longer available. I’d already checked out of my hotel and was on my way there with nowhere else arranged, even though I had confirmed the booking at 10:00 AM. I ended up outside with my luggage, unsure what to do. Booking.com kept rejecting my payment because of a technical problem on its side, so I contacted the property directly and asked whether I could book with them. They said yes. I first got in touch around 9:00 AM. At about 10:00 they asked for my dates, then asked whether I was confirming. I clearly said that I was. This was awful service and showed no respect for guests. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Hot water, good WiFi, and comfortable bedding made this bamboo house feel surprisingly modern. It still has a natural, raw feel, though. A great spot if you’re into architecture and nature.

The team at Arcada Bali were so welcoming, kind, and attentive. They put a lot of effort into making the stay feel special, and it really did. We loved being at Arcada, it felt like a dream and we won’t forget it.
