The bed is the standout for me: huge, soft, and warm under the quilt. I also appreciated having a hot shower, and the chair, small sofa, desk, and storage spaces were all good enough. The hotel is still very clean, especially outside and around reception, and the staff were somewhat welcoming. The room looks much as it did on my earlier visits, though the WiFi can be great or merely okay depending on the room. It was fairly clean, with a few signs of age that weren't serious. The TV still works, but there are fewer channels, and it seems to rely on an aerial cable now, so the picture quality is lower. Some cost-cutting seems likely. This was my fourth stay, and the hotel holds a lot of memories for me. It was my first visit since the pandemic. In the bathroom, space is tight: the toilet faces the shower and sits only about three inches from the wall. Getting to it around the door is awkward, and once seated there's little room. I'm a fairly big guy, so I sometimes bumped the toilet roll holder. I wonder if swapping the toilet and shower would make better use of the space. On the second day and night of our three-night stay, the AC started making a sound like falling water, then dripped onto the floor from early afternoon until evening. We put a floor towel underneath to keep the floor from getting slippery. It seemed to sort itself out by the next day, though I don't know what caused it. The price seems a little high when it's the same as before despite those small cuts. Maybe part of what you're paying for is one of Indonesia's most comfortable beds and a hot shower. It's up to you how to spend your money. I found it fine to good.
