Hotel Luvido Simpang Lima

At least you can sleep here. Nothing special: the AC didn't get cold, the toilet had a strange smell, and there was only one main light. The hot water worked well, though, after waiting about 1-2 minutes.

A decent non-smoking hotel, with 3 beds for a family. It cost idr375k, plus idr50k for early check-in at 8am. Breakfast isn't needed, but there's a cafeteria in the lobby. There's an elevator, though I prefer taking the stairs.

I paid IDR 225k for one night in a Superior King Room without breakfast, booked through the Trav3l0*4 application. Payment by credit card isn't accepted, only cash, bank transfer, or mobile banking. It's near Simpang Lime Semarang, and registration went smoothly. They granted my requests for a non-smoking room, a high floor, and a double bed. For the price, I wasn't expecting much. The room was quite small, the bathroom wasn't, and it was just OK. There was AC and a TV, a smart TV with digital and analog broadcasts. The only window looked onto the corridor, with no outside or street view. Some amenities were missing, including a toothbrush and toothpaste and slippers. I didn't try the WIFI, but videos on YouTube on the TV lagged, so it didn't seem fast. I'd consider it for a night near Simpang Lima, but not for a staycation.

(MATRAI) This was a very, very disappointing experience. The hotel has all non-smoking rooms, and says that even smoking by mistake can bring a 1.000.000 fine. They don't tell you not to smoke, then start making a scene at checkout and threaten you in the name of the police until you pay. Be careful. I strongly don't recommend this hotel, it's a very bad choice.
