Padma Hotel Semarang

Breakfast was really good, with a nice range of choices. My favorite was the Serabi, the best I've had at a hotel. Even a staff member I hadn't spoken to seemed to know my table number, which was a nice surprise. The two pools were a highlight: one for kids with a slide, and a huge main pool that looked about 25-30M long to my inexperienced eye. It was treated with salt and heated, which was super cool. Check-in was easy, and my Hollywood deluxe room with an XXL bed was fairly spacious, though it didn't have a sofa. WiFi was good enough for connecting to my office VPN without trouble. I came in with high expectations because most reviews of Padma hotels are amazing, and they surpassed them. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for any occasion and will come back.

That buffet spread was incredible, with lots of Indonesian food, and the hotel has a heated pool plus an indoor water park that both kids and adults can enjoy. The bathtub was great too, with strong water pressure so it filled quickly. The service is the reason I keep talking about this hotel. It felt like what I'd expect at an Aman or St Regis. Staff anticipated what we needed without waiting for us to ask. At 9:30 AM, when we hadn't made it to breakfast and it ended at 10, they called our room to offer packing some food. In the lobby they offered to take our luggage so we could look around hands-free. Whenever we got into a car, two staff members stood on either side to open and close the doors. The in-room dining servers even took off their shoes before coming in. Every day, as soon as we left the room, we were greeted with big smiles and a warm Selamat pagi. For world-class service and a resort feel in the middle of Semarang, this is the place.

We felt so well looked after, and our guests were impressed. The team made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free, and we couldn't have picked a better place for such a big milestone. The stay was wonderful, and our engagement party there made it even more special. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally from the start, with the staff going above and beyond to make the event perfect. A special thank you to Mr. Raditio, Mr. Irjab and Mr. Roy for their help from the very beginning. Their dedication, responsiveness, and support meant a lot to us. We'd definitely love to return, and highly recommend it.

The pool and waterpark were the best part, and I really liked that the pool uses salt. Breakfast had lots of variety, including local dishes. We also enjoyed the yoga class, the kids loved the playground, and the complimentary foam party for Padma members was a hit. The archery, with a bit of tutoring, was fun too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were in good condition. Our room was spotless, spacious, and smelled nice. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. One small hiccup was that one of our rooms was on a different floor. I understand why, but it was still a shame in an otherwise perfect stay. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back to Padma if we're in Semarang again.
