Grand Arkenso Parkview Simpang Lima

I’ve stayed here many times and would still choose this hotel when I’m in Semarang. It’s next to a mall, with local food easy to find nearby, and the location is strategic. The hotel is old but clean and well maintained, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great value too.

The rooms are old, but still feel fancy and exclusive, with plenty of old-world charm. It’s a nice base for exploring Semarang’s city centre, and Kota Lama isn’t far. You can take a fancy online Tuktuk or Bajaj to or from the hotel.

There’s also a fitness center, swimming pool, meeting rooms, and several places to eat in the hotel. It’s right on Jalan Pemuda beside Simpang Lima, Semarang’s famous city square, making the main attractions easy to reach for business or sightseeing. The hotel is a bit older than newer places, but it’s still clean and comfortable, and the location and facilities make it good value.

The breakfast is tasty and offers plenty of variety, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a restful stay. Right in the city centre near Simpang Lima, the hotel is convenient for business and entertainment areas. A good combination of comfortable accommodation, dining, and location.
