I ended up in Semarang, the capital of Central Java, after flooding stranded me and my train was canceled. I booked private transport, but what the website called _w!80¥o travel_ showed and promised was clearly not what I got. They loaded 12 passengers into a Toyota Hiace along with a lot of plastic goods from a warehouse, piled on the floor and roof. There was no safety procedure at all. I got out and canceled right there, then ordered a local online taxi. I'd also seen another 8 people write about bad experiences with that service online, so if you come across its Semarang transport ads, keep my experience in mind. After that, I was able to rest my tired back at the clean, tidy little _Sans Hotel_. The price was good and the front desk staff were helpful. The only drawback was that there was no hot bath. I'd recommend Sans hotel if you suddenly need a place to stay or have to extend your time in west Semarang.

I was here just one day for work, and the place was fine. It's right by the road, so getting there is easy. There aren't many rooms, but mine was clean, smelled fresh, and felt comfortable. There's a separate smoking spot on the balcony facing the street, and the atmosphere is especially nice in the evening. The facilities and comfort are good for the price. Nice work!

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the service was friendly. It's a fairly new hotel, conveniently close to the toll exit and a few tourist spots.

It's clean and nice, and the location is convenient. But my jacket was damaged in the laundry, and nobody explained what happened or apologized. They just left the zipper as it was, so it's no surprise they never confirmed when the laundry was done. Really disappointing.

The hotel and room were clean, with a fair amount of space and a smart TV, and the price was affordable. The bathroom smelled a little, though. Maybe they could add an air freshener in the future 👍🏻
