The location in the heart of Semarang is handy, with lots of food around and low prices. The front desk, elevators, dining areas, and corridors were clean, and when we first arrived the front desk was welcoming. They were generous when we asked for towels and cutlery, and the amenities included shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, a shaver, and a shower cap. There wasn't a little tray for them, though, so they sat scattered across the bathroom counter. Also, no hand towels, so once things got wet, they really got wet. The towels and sheets could use more attention to cleanliness. Noise was a problem. Around 11pm, loudspeakers and motorcycle exhausts were very loud, even on the third floor. On Sunday at 5:30am, people exercising with loud music during the car free day woke us up. I booked four rooms, two deluxe and two triple. Both deluxe rooms had a wall pillar in the middle, taking up space in the 24sqm rooms and blocking the layout. I wish I'd taken photos.

We chose a room overlooking Simpang Lima, and the view was quite nice. The room had the basics, a comfortable bed, and cold AC, though it took a little while to get going. The central downtown location is the main draw, with easy access around town. I'd stay here again when I'm back in Semarang.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and our wedding reception went smoothly from start to finish. The arrangements were well organized, and they ended up giving us a larger part of the ballroom, which made the day feel even more special. A special thank you to Ibu Puspa for helping us.

Only stayed one night. The room was cozy, but there wasn't much room for luggage. It's in a strategic spot at Simpang Lima. You get to it from the basement parking by stairs. Seems best for short stays without kids.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with tasty food, plenty of choices, and a roomy, comfortable dining area. The building has also been newly renovated, and the location right in front of Simpang Lima is why I chose it. I booked two deluxe rooms with views. They were clean and spacious enough, and the views were lovely. Unfortunately, one room had a huge pillar that blocked the window view, something not shown in the photos or mentioned in the booking description. I complained, and the receptionist said the building used to be a mall, so some rooms might have a pillar inside. Thankfully it was only one room. If both had been like that, I would've been very disappointed.
