The rooms are okay, and the location is fairly strategic for a relatively affordable stay. Parking was easily the most annoying part: it’s paid, outdoors, and if you’re unlucky you might even have to shower while leaving your car there. Ridiculous. If your room has a veranda, unlocking it costs 150k.

The rooms at MG Setos were roomy, clean, and had lovely views. I found the stay very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond.

We asked for a non-smoking room, but were first assigned one on a smoking floor. The front desk said the hotel was fully booked, so we accepted it. I couldn’t handle the smell and dirt in that room, though, and went back to ask again. We were then moved to a non-smoking room, which made it seem like they hadn’t actually been fully booked. Our friends were staying in another room. The guests next door to them kept their door open and smoked inside, leaving the whole floor smelling of cigarettes. They also charge for things you might need, from pillows and mineral water to a hair dryer. There wasn’t one in the room, and borrowing one costs extra. I can’t recommend this hotel at all, especially for people traveling with children or anyone wanting a smoke-free property.
