The location is really convenient, and the place itself is clean and comfortable. It has complete facilities too.

The windows worry me: they can leak when it rains, and the room gets stove-hot without the AC. Every room does have AC, though. The toilet area is tidy and well kept, with nothing broken, so it's pretty good overall.

It's handy for the Old City and Johar market, and there's a shared fridge plus free hot and cold drinking water. But the bathroom water is so dirty, with what look like mosquito larvae coming out of the tap all the time. The Google review also mentions laundry, but there isn't any. Be careful.

The noise was awful, the loudest boarding house I've stayed in. Some guards or residents play music loud enough for the whole place to hear, sometimes even after 7 PM. Recently a group, maybe people looking around the rooms, were giggling and making a real disturbance. I can't tell whether it's the guards or residents causing it. Please keep things in order and remind noisy people to let others have a peaceful atmosphere. Being friendly is fine, but don't be loud. There are good points too: friendly guards, clean rooms, and decent facilities for a downtown boarding house. It's close to Johar Market and the Old Town, with free water, a shared kitchen and a shared fridge.

There was no bucket or kitchen, and definitely no shared washing machine. The water was clean but smelled bad, the hot water didn't work, and the shower was completely out of order. Bathroom lighting was dim. The AC at 16° felt like a fan. The TV had no remote and sat on a table without a proper stand, with antenna wires lying around. There weren't any chairs, just that table being used for the TV. The room still smelled of fresh paint from renovations. The worst part was calling the owner. The man looking after her told me, "This lady is already sick, and she's still like that. When you deal with me, just deal with me. EVERYONE HERE TRUSTS ME." I got her number from the Mamikost app, and I don't think checking with her was wrong. For an app that's supposed to offer quality, this place doesn't meet the criteria. If you value freedom, though, it may suit you. You can even enter without showing ID or any other identification.
