The staff were welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond, and the hot water worked well. Our room was spacious but a little dirty, with lots of ants in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t anything special. We had a parking spot right in front of our superior room, but it got noisy: you could clearly hear people talking outside.

The meal choices were limited, which felt out of step with the obnoxiously high room rates. The rooms themselves were tidy, good, and fairly large. There’s resort-style lodging here, along with some nice spas and cafes. It’s also close to the main road and has more than one entrance.

We left very early the next morning and don’t want to return. Even in our executive room, which was quite big, there was dust, dirt, and a bad smell. The sofa and carpet looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. A cockroach crawled and flew around the room, frightening the kids, and there was used men’s underwear in a drawer. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly either. After we complained, a technician came and it got better. The hotel ruined our mood that day.

It’s an unusual hotel, and the food was OK while the drinks were good. It was clean and not too expensive. A superior room comes with a car garage, but no water heater or fridge. Choose another room type and you won’t get a garage. Security is there 24 hours. (Jan 2019)
