The bathroom was filthy, with hair everywhere and an unclean sink. The room floor had hair too, and the bedcover was stained all over. I was worried about bedbugs at night, though I think it was just ants. All the rooms are upstairs and there's no elevator, so with heavy luggage, don't expect anyone to help. I looked around at about 1:00pm. This so-called hotel is much more like a kos-kosan and nowhere near what the reviews below described. I made a huge mistake booking and paying in advance through agoda website. I should've seen the place first. Thankfully I only stayed one night. Best to avoid, I would not recommend it to anyone.

It's an affordable spot for backpackers, and the location near Simpang Lima makes getting around the city easy. The building is easy to spot from the road. There's no breakfast, just Pop Mie for 5k, but that was fine. The room was fairly spacious, though not very clean, and there were ants around. An escalator would make things easier.

Being right in the city centre made it easy to walk around. The room was nice for a budget stay, though there's no lift, so be ready to climb the stairs to yours.
