That elevated bathroom gave the apartment a playful feel, and the little red retro fridge was adorable. The place itself was spacious, cozy, beautifully furnished, and sparkling clean. We stayed from February 3 through 6, and really liked the patio too. Our host had left fruit, a wine opener, a garlic crusher, a candle, small towels, plenty of hangers, and little coffee filters. Those thoughtful extras were much appreciated. I hadn’t seen those filters before and would love to know where to buy them. I left some tealights for anyone who might enjoy candles on the patio. For us, a bedside table lamp and perhaps another bedside table would make it even better, since older people like us read in bed. Novi kindly lent us a standing lamp, thank you, Nov. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to Semarang.

The studio was spacious and welcoming, and the accommodations matched what we expected. We’ll probably come back another time. My wife and I were there from 15-23 Jan 2022. We also found a cute “Message in a Bottle” left by a previous guest. Nice touch, Joyce & Joe, whoever and wherever you are! Mosquitos were the one nuisance. We couldn’t work out how they got in, but the bug lamp helped, and we bought repellent to use while sleeping.

We had to wait, though not for too long at first. After sitting down, we waited again and had to call out several times before anyone came to take our order.
