Votel Krakatau Semarang

The staff were a real bright spot for me. They were friendly, attentive, and happy to help with requests or share local recommendations. The hotel is also in a convenient area, and its clean, welcoming entrance and lobby made a good first impression. My room was simple, comfortable, and had the essentials, including clean bedding and air conditioning. It was well maintained and suitable for a good night’s sleep, though it isn’t luxurious. For the affordable price, Votel Krakatau Hotel offers a comfortable stay and good value. It may not have the extras of a higher-end hotel, but the rooms, service, and location make it a reliable budget option for leisure or business travel.

The lack of shower items was disappointing. Aside from that, everything was nice.

The service was fantastic, and I liked the room. The food tasted great, though the portions were small 🙈. A smart TV would be a nice idea since people may prefer watching YouTube over regular channels. The hotel is super good.

There are lots of food choices nearby, and the place is in a residential area, so you get the city location without as much hustle and bustle. Indo and alfa convenience stores are close by too, which makes it easy to pick up amenities. My room was fairly large, with a high ceiling, and quite clean. It had air conditioning. I was on the second floor near the balcony smoking area, and unfortunately the smell came into the room. The bathroom was a little dirty, but usable, with hot water and a strong shower. There’s parking and 24-hour security, though the parking area isn’t gated, so keep an eye on your belongings. Overall, I’d recommend it.
