We couldn’t stay and had to book somewhere else, so the money we spent here felt wasted. The service was awful: when we got in touch, nobody replied or tried to help. The listing claimed there was Wi-Fi, but there wasn’t any. The room was crawling with ants and cockroaches, including ants on the bed and walls. Hundreds of dead ants were already scattered across the floor when we arrived, and it was clear the place hadn’t been cleaned properly. We asked to switch rooms, but the next one was just as poorly cleaned, so we had to clean it ourselves. I don’t mind an old room, but the sheets were visibly dirty and the general cleanliness was very poor. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We booked three nights but left without staying. Ants were all over the room, from the floor and walls to the pillow and mattress, and it was unhygienic. The mugs were sticky and had dead ants on them. Agoda listed Wi-Fi, but the property didn’t have it. We went down the road and stayed at another hotel. I tried contacting the host about a partial refund, but got no response.

It’s a peaceful spot, with a well-kept garden and grounds, and the morning view of Rinjani is lovely when the weather is clear. The rooms and bathrooms are both fairly spacious and clean, and the bathrooms have water heaters. Staff are friendly and helpful, and they’ll lend you plates and other kitchen utensils. A table and chairs in each room would be useful for putting bags and makeup. During my stay they were adding a prayer room and repairing the fence.
