The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and I loved the breakfast. The internet was a bit unreliable at times, but I managed fine for my two nights. For a low-cost place near the local waterfalls, this is good value. The room is basic but roomy enough, and the bathroom is large too. Just know the water is cold. There’s no AC, though the room does have a fan.

We spent one night at Blue Mountain Cottage before our Mt Rinjani trek and another after, and had a great stay. The food at the restaurant was good, with an amazing jungle and mountain view, and you can hike to the waterfalls from here too. The rooms are simple but very clean, with hot showers. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped arrange our ferry tickets, and we also booked a massage there.

Before my Mount Rinjani trek, I spent a night here. The room was super clean, even though the facilities were basic. It felt peaceful and untouched, and I’d recommend it if you want budget accommodation.

The homestay is an easy five-minute walk from the entrance to the two big waterfalls, which was really handy. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance, with amazing views of the mountains and rice fields. I was comfortable during my two nights here and glad to have hot water in the shower. Yuli was really nice and spoke very good English. She also helped me rent a motorbike for the day.

A quiet, simple place up in the mountains, right beside the waterfall. The rooms are basic but have what you need. They can arrange Rinajni treks for less than most places charge. Makası 🤙
