They put seven drunk guys in the rooms beside mine and my friend's, even though both buildings were otherwise empty. They shouted, played music, and made noise all night, and staff did nothing even after I complained. There were bedbugs in the bed, the WiFi didn’t work, and they had to move me four times because none of the AC units worked. The mosque is right next door, with prayers starting at 4am and lasting an hour. Nobody mentioned that beforehand.

There are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and often live music nearby. I also liked lounging in the lobby and using the pool, which is 1.5m deep. I arrived at 1:30pm after a very rough ferry trip, and the staff let me check in early. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and so helpful.

I paid under 150k through an online app for a room only, and it worked well for what I needed. It was small but had enough space to open my luggage, while the bathroom was surprisingly large. The hot water and AC both worked. I didn’t get a towel, but I’d brought my own and had the other things I needed, so that was fine. I also paid a 50k deposit. The flush didn’t work. Since I was only staying one night in transit, I didn’t ask to change rooms.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The beach is about a five minute walk away, and you can choose from four room types to suit your budget. Breakfast was very basic, though acceptable. Some evenings the music was painful to listen to, especially since nearby bars and restaurants played much better music.
