The beachfront setting is nice, and the staff were very polite, but the room had cracks in the walls that felt a bit worrying. Music from a nearby karaoke bar was often loud until 4 a.m., and the food was average. Before arriving, I had arranged a discount for a three-week stay that included one free meal each day. I confirmed it again at check-in, and staff wrote it down. After three days, I was asked to pay the first bill, with no free meals included. They said there must have been a misunderstanding, so I said I'd check out the next day. A few hours later they told me the discount was fine. I was glad to leave as soon as I could.

The manager and staff nearly earned this place five stars from me. The manager is genuinely helpful, fixes things when you point out a mistake, and was frank about our plans. His alternative suggestions ended up being much cheaper than what we'd been considering. The food is well seasoned and there's a good range of it. For the price, you get about what you'd expect. The rooms are very small, though the AC works wonders. Some furniture needs a coat of paint and makes the place look run down. The bathroom has the same shabby feel, and a mosquito net over the bed would be useful since there can be quite a few mosquitoes.

We came back for breakfast the next morning after stopping for a sunset drink. The view was lovely, the atmosphere peaceful and the staff friendly, but the food and juices at breakfast were a bit disappointing.

The place is clean, close to the beach, and has a pool for a dip too. The staff are really nice, and renting a scooter is easy.
