It's conveniently located close to everything, and the price was the one good point for me. The room was basic, humid and very hot, so sleeping at night was really hard. The staff were kind but too pushy. There are better places for the same price, though this could suit budget travelers.

We stayed for two nights, and the owner arranged a trip to Gili Meno at an unbeatable price. While we were on the Gili islands, a powerful 7.0 earthquake hit. We got off the island hoping to return to the guesthouse, but when we reached Senggigi we saw that the beautiful place had been damaged. The guest family were staying in an emergency tent across the field, yet they still looked after us, gave us somewhere to sleep for three days and made us feel like family. I can't put into words how warm-hearted they are. They showed real humanity, and I'm so grateful we met them. Thank you so much. Stay strong and just as you are. We love this family and hope to stay there again one day. A grateful German couple.
