We got there at 19:30 and were sent straight to the smoking section without anyone asking us. There were lots of smokers, and people had their phones playing loudly. We ordered two dishes, soup, fries and a bottle of water. The water took 40 minutes to arrive. We asked for two glasses and got two awful plastic cups instead. The cutlery came in a plastic pouch too. Such a waste. Our first dish arrived after 70 minutes. Our parents, who were visiting from Europe, had had enough of waiting and left at 20:50. The second dish finally came at 21:15. By then we were exhausted, so we canceled the soup and fries and left hungry. The dishes tasted good, but I’ve never had such poor service in Indonesia.

The river that leads into the lake is close by. Rooms are small and dated. There's a terrace around the corner for Indonesian food, though it was a bit messy from renovations.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our superior room was clean and well looked after, and the mosque next door was quieter than we expected. The staff didn't speak English, but local guide Allu (+62085240488671) was a big help. He invited us to his home for tea and helped arrange a tour of the floating village. Highly recommend!

The second-floor balcony has a nice atmosphere and is a good spot for a chat if the live music downstairs bothers you. Food and drinks are standard, though the prices feel high for the people there. Still, it's a nice place.

We stayed for two nights. The staff were really friendly and tried to help us with tours and transport. Breakfast was okay, but the room could have been cleaner, with lots of cigarette burn marks on the furniture. For the average level of comfort, we thought it was very expensive.
