The room was pretty decent 👌🏽

The rooms felt a bit cramped, and water didn’t drain properly in the bathroom. The tiles seem to slope the wrong way, so water doesn’t run into the drain holes like it should.

We stopped overnight on the way from Bira to Rantepao. After the heavy rain, Sengkang looked even less appealing, and there isn’t much to see around town besides Lake Tempe. Sallo Hotel seemed like the best place to stay among the options. The room was fine, but there was no hot water, and the WiFi was so slow it was useless. Breakfast was decent, and the room service food was surprisingly good.

Good affordable rooms, and the mall is right next door.
