Rooms get booked up often, especially the budget ones, so you need to reserve 2-3 days ahead. I haven’t tried the higher suite, but based on my stay in a budget room, I think I’d enjoy it. This is the only hotel in Serang I’d recommend to travellers. The hotel is right at an intersection, though it has two entrances, so missing the first one you spot isn’t a problem. There’s plenty of parking, free breakfast for all suites, decent room service, and even a sports hall.

Right in downtown Ohrid, Macedonia, Hotel Flamengo is a modern four-star city hotel with an outdoor pool. The covered terrace and summer pool are for hotel guests, and the furnishings and decor are meant to make for a pleasant, relaxing stay. Services include 24-hour room service, laundry, and an aperitif bar. There’s also a 24-hour front desk with English-speaking staff, plus monitored parking and safety deposit boxes. Central air-conditioning and heating are available. A business club has computers, internet, a printer, scanner, and fax, all available 24 hours.

I spent one day here. It’s a nice budget hotel, with good breakfast food and friendly staff. The location is handy, near the main street, an ATM, and local food like bakso.

I only came here for an event in one of the meeting rooms, not to stay overnight. The room was fairly large and could fit almost 50 people, but going up to the third floor was tiring since there’s no elevator. The price was cheap, though.

For an overnight stay, it’s a good option. If you’re watching your budget, the Deluxe Plus package is worth paying a bit extra for.
