We had a two-night, three-day stay in a bungalow and liked it, though there’s not much to do indoors when it rains as much as it did for us. The rooms and decor were nice, the bathroom products were good, the pool was pleasant, and the staff were lovely. The massage was very good too. There isn’t a restaurant nearby, so we ate at the hotel. Prices weren’t too high, but I didn’t agree with all the praise for the food: the smoothies tasted like milkshakes, the Western dishes were bland, and the Balinese food had a lot of fish sauce but was quite good. With no A/C and only a fan, the humid room didn’t dry out. The septic tank toilets gave the room a slight smell, and I wasn’t prepared to put used toilet paper in a bin. The bathroom had animal droppings that weren’t cleaned during our stay. Half the lights on the very dark path to the bungalow weren’t working, and we also had one power outage, which apparently isn’t unusual in Bali. I could hear loud music, probably from chicken farms, and prayers at 6am.

We loved our stay at this gem of a hotel. The location is incredible, the staff attentive, and the food delicious. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend it.

The rice field surroundings and beautiful grounds made a lovely first impression. Each bungalow feels like its own villa, with carved Balinese doors, a comfortable patio, and views worth millions. Everything was immaculately clean and tidied daily. The pool was spotless and just the right temperature, and the massages were affordable with highly trained therapists. From the owners to the staff, everyone was cheerful and gracious, and they helped with all the little details. We got a delicious welcome drink and could borrow board games for our room. The food was great, and the whole place had a happy, welcoming feel. I’ve enjoyed two stays and plan to return. If you’re looking for the Bali you’ve been dreaming of, this is it.

The views from the patio were gorgeous, with rice paddies, mountains, and perfect sunsets all around. At night the lighting made the whole place feel enchanting. The pool was clean and the temperature was just right, and the massage was perfect. Food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. The owners and every staff member took thoughtful care of everything we needed. If you’ve been dreaming of a beautiful Bali experience, this is it. Voila!
