Villa Sha San Gar

We booked this place on the spur of the moment after realizing, while travelling from a temple to nowhere, that we had no room for the night. The confirmation came right away, and we ended up with a pool villa by the beach. The caretaker welcomed us, and we quickly settled into this beautiful little oasis between rice fields and Lovina beach. There are four bedrooms, all with double beds and their own bathrooms. Drapes around each bed help keep mosquitoes away. The main building has a living room downstairs and a social space upstairs. In the garden, we found three spots to gather: by the garden kitchen, beside the main building and near the beach. The pool and sun loungers completed the garden. It was our first time staying in a private villa on the island, and we got to experience the advantages of that. The host or caretaker was kind, polite and helpful, and made us a delicious breakfast the next morning. We only had one night and left after breakfast, but I can strongly recommend it for groups of more than four people. I also appreciated that there was a security guard overnight. Knowing someone was watching over the villa felt reassuring. Whoever owns the place has great taste and knows how to decorate a villa so it's a pleasure to stay in. Great job, mate!
