Noah Hotel Silangit

Good.

The building is big, but the atmosphere feels dated, and for that price the room is only basic. My main concern is that some rooms don’t have water heaters. Siborong-borong gets really cold, so showering can be a hassle. I hope they improve this in the future.

The location is excellent, 10/10, right by the main road with plenty of parking. Service was also 10/10. The staff were all women, and I felt a little awkward asking them to carry my luggage, but they were very friendly. I’d give the bedroom 8/10. I had a VIP room with a refrigerator and TV. The building gets 7/10. It’s old, poorly maintained, and needs renovation. Even a new coat of paint would help. The bathroom was the worst part, 1/10. The water was off for three days, and there were no towel changes or bottled water refills during that time. The bathroom was dirty and neglected, the water didn’t run, and the bathtub was yellowed, like it hadn’t been scrubbed in a long time. I only stayed here once, and I really don’t recommend it.

The room is spacious, and although the hotel and sheets are old, they’re clean. The person who gave it five stars is exaggerating. For 150,000 Rupiah, do you expect a five-star hotel, or a three-star one?
