Darmada Eco Resort

We spent five nights as a family, using three villas, and everyone had an amazing time. The villas were clean and comfortable. Grounds were stunning, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice too. There are shops, silver ring making, and the rice terrace hike a short walk away. The resort has a spa where we had massages. We also took a day trip from there to a couple of places in Eastern Bali and the beach. We'd highly recommend it!

The sound of the river is so calming, it became the perfect background to fall asleep to. The room was extremely comfortable, and I especially liked the tiles and art chosen to decorate it. The staff were very kind, and even the owner stopped by for a short, thoughtful chat. I spent two nights here and would love to stay for a week next time. I can confidently say this is one of the best places to stay in Bali.

We only had two nights at Darmada and wished we'd stayed longer. The grounds are surrounded by green, with the river right beside them, and the soothing sound is always there. The area is quiet and peaceful. We stayed in Arjuna, a really cosy villa with a comfy bed, mosquito net, good showers, and a nice patio. Facilities were great, especially the two shared pools. We liked that one was partly shaded. The staff were lovely, on the ball, and really helpful. There are a couple of supermarkets around 10-15 minutes away on foot, and the signposted rice terrace walk is about 10 minutes away with excellent views. The food was okay and did the job, but wasn't anything special. Indonesian dishes weren't as tasty as what we've had in warungs, and the Western-style breakfast was quite average. I'd recommend the mie goreng and nasi campur. We'd recommend Darmada to anyone looking to enjoy Sideman's peaceful, green nature.

A beautiful, peaceful, relaxing resort in a natural setting, with lots of activities and clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was inconsistent, but nothing offensive. I loved my stay overall.
