Giri Carik

We only booked two nights at Giri Carik, but liked Sidemen enough to stay for a week. When Giri Carik was full, Uni even took me and my bag to the place we found around the corner on her scooter while my husband walked. That was so kind of her. The location’s handy for shops, cooking and silver classes, warungs, and people arranging tours or transport. Laundry was just 25k per kilo. The restaurant food was really good, and the pool was lovely. Our room was clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the shower was great. The staff made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Komang, for the warm greeting, and Ayu for your help and chats. Uni, thanks again for taking me to the pharmacy last night. And to the young woman in the dining room, I’m sorry I forgot your name, but you were so beautiful and kind. Thanks, Giri Carik, from Nicky and Andy.

We made good use of the pool for cooling off and relaxing, and breakfast was included, which was a lovely way to start each day. The room was roomy and very comfortable. There was no AC, but we didn’t need it. Giri Carik is right in the heart of Sidemen, with lots of restaurants an easy walk away. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. I loved my four-night stay.

The team were especially helpful during my two nights at Giri Carik. They arranged a guided tour and onward travel for me, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the volcano, and there was a great pool. Warungs, shops, and rice paddy walks were all an easy walk away. I had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The hosts were kind, and everything was very clean. It’s right in the center of Sidemen but still quiet. The AC worked well and the shower had hot water. A lovely place to come back to while exploring.
