The hosts felt genuinely welcoming and caring. Ari and his wife were lovely, and Ari can give you a lift to another hotel for a reasonable price. They also rent scooters. The stay is close to good restaurants and striking scenery, right by nature. At night it wasn’t hot, so the fan was enough for us; no AC needed. The open villas may let in a lizard or insect, but the mosquito net around the bed takes care of that. Breakfast was simple and well balanced, and the Bali coffee had a rich taste. Thanks for the hospitality, Ari and your wife! There’s a resort and restaurant called Sleeping Gaja very close by. For 50k p.p, you can spend the whole day at its incredibly luxurious pool, with stunning views and great food.

This was my first time in Bali, and I couldn’t have asked for more. The family were lovely, kind and so helpful. Breakfast was great, the mountain view was awesome, and the hot shower and really nice bed made the stay even better. I wanted to extend, but the villas were fully booked. I can see why. Best stay ever!

For a cheap, charming place, it was great value. It’s a small family-run establishment, and it really felt that way. Ari and his wife were attentive and lovely, helping with everything. They didn’t speak English very well, but they communicated enough to be super helpful. The service was 10/10, and the view was beautiful. The downsides were the food, noise and room amenities.

We were staying nearby and stopped at the Warung for dinner. Every dish was freshly made and delicious. We had chicken satay, grilled tuna and pork ribs. The hosts were charming, and the service was wonderful. A fantastic evening. Many thanks, highly recommended!

We had a lovely few days here. The guesthouse is within walking distance of several restaurants, and Sideman village itself is beautiful, with endless rice terraces and rural farming life. If you want to explore farther, scooters are available to hire from the guesthouse. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and they offer food and drinks. We enjoyed coffee on our terrace each morning, looking out toward the volcano. If the skies are clear, it’s a great morning view. The rooms are large and well equipped, with a huge comfy bed, and the bathroom is spacious and modern.
