The breakfast was nice, though they only prepared it once, so late risers are left with whatever remains. The hot water worked well, but the pressure was poor. The bed was hard, and so were the pillow and bolster. Room 112, the cheapest deluxe, had no sink and a broken curtain. It did at least have a window, unlike the other three rooms, though an exhaust fan in the middle of the room had no mosquito net outside, so mosquitoes got in. I may just have been unlucky checking in late. I requested four non-smoking rooms, but two were smoking rooms. This is still the best hotel you can get in Bontang city area.

The mattresses aren't soft, and for around $45AU a night I would expect a fridge in the room. Breakfast is average and could be better, though free wifi is available. There's a laundry next door, a shopping centre about five minutes away by car, and a night club and bar out the back. Probably the best hotel in Bontang. I stay here whenever I visit family.

On my third trip to Bontang, I found the room spacious, though the hotel is typical of the "melati" class. Watch out for the steep stairs. The worst part was the noise from the night club next door, which has the same owner. It was very uncomfortable.

A good budget hotel option. It was clean and quiet, and I loved the floral scent on the sheets and towels. Breakfast was okay, but the choices were very limited.

After a full day of travelling, a clean room, hot water, and cold beer are all I need. The hotel staff were nice and efficient too.
