The clean, modern room and comfy bed made this a lovely stay, and the host was so warm and welcoming. Medukuh point hill has a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, yet the place stays quiet at night. We loved the peaceful feel and views over the rice terraces. Sidemen town is about an 8-minute scooter ride away.

A cold Bintang, grilled seafood for dinner, and a night in one of the fantastic A-frame buildings turned an unexpected stop into a very happy one. Our hire car couldn't get up the hill, so we were stuck; they gladly gave us a room at a discounted rate when we asked. Thanks so much!

We liked the meal enough to come back twice after our first visit. The barbecue was freshly cooked, with fresh vegetables and delicious sauces. We even watched them cut our young coconut from the tree behind the restaurant.

The banana pancakes were yummy, and the grilled food was delicious, especially the squid. We were staying across the road and decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. If you're at Umaduran and want a change from its restaurant, this is a good option.
