The Bukit Artha

We passed Bukit Artha while it was empty, which isn't unusual in Sideman, where plenty of restaurants are quiet. We went in anyway, and the Pepe Tuna and Mie Goreng were delicious. Service was very friendly. It's cash only. Highly recommended. If you spot a Warung with great reviews, go in and take a seat.

The food is excellent, fresh, and full of flavour. It's cooked to order, so be patient. It can get busy, but waiting is well worth it. Komang and his lovely wife run this efficient little family Warung and Homestay. Enak sekali, Terima kasih temanku.

The husband and wife team really know how to make a good sate fish skewer, probably the best in the country. We also ordered Pepe Ikan tuna and Ikan goreng, and both were so good. I'd definitely come back. He wanted six stars, and I'd give them if I could. Don't pass this place by. We ate at both warungs directly across the road, drawn in mainly by their decor and lighting. They were good, but the quality of the food and the warmth at Butik were on another level.

This is my third day eating here, and I'd say it's some of the best cooking I've had on my travels in Bali. The flavours, care, and lovely host keep bringing me back. Don't miss the Pepes Ilkan Tuna or ayam tutu bumbu bali. Komang's arak is the smoothest you'll find. You'll miss something if you pass this place by.
