Samanvaya - Adults Only

Both hotel restaurants serve really high-quality food and drinks, and the teams there are the nicest. Everyone, from the hospitality staff and cleaning crew to the gardeners, made us feel welcome and at home. The whole team was the best part of our stay, and even by Bali standards their welcome felt exceptional. Samanvaya had everything we expected from a 5 star resort: lovely decor, a beautiful setting, and comfortable rooms. Special thanks to Puma for the kind, smiley chats that made each day more fun. We’ll definitely return to this 10/10 place!

The views from everywhere, from the main restaurant to the unfamiliar infinity pool, are like a painting. The decor and atmosphere are tasteful too. It’s a long ~2h drive from the airport, but 110% worth it. I only wish we’d stayed longer. We had a dream stay. Samanvaya feels like a destination of its own, far from the crowds, where you can enjoy a local experience without giving up comfort. They offer guided local activities and adventures, which made exploring convenient and worry free. We went to a waterfall and took part in a Balinese purification Water blessing/ ritual with a local healer. It was breathtaking and fun! The hotel’s spa has lots of services, including hot bamboo massages, facials, chakras, and mud treatments. The service was stellar. Every staff member knew the details of our stay, whether at the restaurant, reception, or spa. Their attention, professionalism, and kindness were unmatched. I’ve traveled a lot and haven’t met staff this lovely elsewhere. They give you a room phone to contact reception on WhatsApp almost any time, and they respond super quickly. Waking up to the mountains, rice fields, and river every day was so special, and the tropical setting feels like a dream. The staff are always friendly and attentive, with clearly excellent customer service training. The facilities are top notch, and the two fabulous restaurants and cafe have so much good food that you won’t get sick of it. Breakfast is exceptional too. There are thoughtful extras everywhere, like free afternoon tea every day and quality toiletries, even toothpaste, aloe vera, and natural big spray. Everything has been considered. We were grateful for our four nights and could have stayed much longer. This place is absolute paradise, and I couldn’t find anything to improve. You have to see it for yourself. We’ll definitely be back :)

We stayed in the Mulia Villa, one of the new pool villas, and the river, valley, greenery, and rice fields made the view feel like a painting. It was so peaceful. The villa was spacious and beautiful, with an indoor bath and lots of little places to sit inside and out. Samanvaya sits in a lovely valley surrounded by mountains and rice fields. The new bath house is beautifully designed and relaxing, with a sauna, an ice bath, and two hot baths. Everything about the stay felt luxurious and really well done. The food was amazing too. Sahaja, Citrus & Vine, and Asri all have great vegan choices. Don’t forget to ask about the vegan Bakwan Jagung 🤍 I’d go back 100%!
