The location works well for scenery and excursions, though there isn’t much within walking distance. It’s a large, upper-class property, with a pool, a small and somewhat outdated gym, a spa, and a great restaurant. The tents are gorgeous and clean, and the nighttime atmosphere in them feels special. You can hear the surroundings without being exposed to them. Staff are very helpful, and everything we needed for a great stay was there. It felt quite luxurious.

We came from crowded Ubud and found Sidemen peaceful and scenic, with good infrastructure. It was an ideal spot to unwind, and we’d absolutely return to Wapa. Everyone, from reception and the restaurant to housekeeping, was warm and helpful. The team was naturally engaged with our kids and very child-friendly. Our spacious Family Pool Tent suited us perfectly, with two identical bedrooms, a lounge, and a shaded private pool. The kids also loved the little playground. One small note: neither the private nor public pools are heated, though that seems common across Bali.

The staff made the biggest impression on us. They were among the most genuine and caring people I’ve dealt with. The room, hotel grounds, and beautiful surroundings were all perfect too. A highlight of our trip and an amazing experience.
