Uma D Mapad Sidemen

My sister and I had a lovely stay. The room was clean, the view was beautiful, and there was a cool pool right in front of our villa. At night it was quiet, with the river and crickets as the sounds around us. We liked being away from Sidemen’s crowded tourist center. You can get there by scooter or car, though the roads leading to the place are a bit narrow. Our host, mister Inyoman, was very kind, and we had some nice conversations. He can help if you need anything. I also had a massage at the villa from a woman who came from the village, and she did a great job. A great place to rest and have some time to yourself.

We came as a couple, and during our three weeks in Bali this was definitely our best stay. We loved the peaceful natural setting near Sidemen centre. Nyoman was a wonderful host, possibly the funniest and kindest person we’ve met. The food was great, the pool was cute, the bed was awesome, and we couldn’t think of anything we needed that was missing. Renting a scooter is useful here, as it is anywhere in Bali, since it gives you the freedom to go where you want when you want. My girlfriend wants to add that we cancelled our plans one day and spent the whole day at the villa because it felt so beautiful and homey. Go to Uma D Mapad and enjoy!

The only slight drawback was construction below, with people occasionally passing through, so it didn’t feel completely private. We had been told in advance about the work and noise. Aside from that, it was an amazing stay. The bamboo villa and private pool were beautiful, surrounded by fresh air and nature, and we got fresh fruit every day. The riverside location was perfect. Norman was a fantastic host, kind, accommodating, and fair with pricing. Thank you, Toby & Ina.

At night, the river makes a lovely sound to fall asleep to. The accommodation is serene and has everything you need, with an amazing view. The staff are super friendly and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. I can highly recommend Uma D Mapad.
