The room at Veluvana was lovely, spotless, and unlike anywhere we’d stayed before. We especially enjoyed the tasty floating breakfast, which felt carefully put together. The whole place was calm and restful, a welcome break from city life. The team were kind and cheerful from arrival through check-out, and made us feel at home. We’d gladly return and recommend Veluvana to anyone visiting Bali.
The in-house spa was wonderfully relaxing, with jungle views, and the photoshoot gave us some beautiful memories to take home. Depi was especially helpful: she patiently explained everything and checked that we felt comfortable. The staff were kind throughout, from check-in to check-out, and even left us complimentary goodies, a thoughtful touch. Food was excellent too. We had a great stay at Veluvana Bali and would happily come back. If you’re not into being surrounded by nature, it may not suit you, but for anyone wanting adventure, nature, and a chance to disconnect, it’s a lovely fit. 5/5 for nature lovers and honeymooners.
The view of Mount Agung in the morning was amazing, and dinner at the upstairs restaurant was a real pleasure. We only spent one night in the Octopus House at Veluvana Bali, but the bamboo design made it feel like stepping into another world. Its octopus-like architecture is striking, and the lift up to the rooftop pool is a standout feature. The open layout lets you feel close to the greenery, including when showering outdoors, while still being comfortable and luxurious. The place is quiet, peaceful, and romantic. Surya, Ayu, Yunyun and Lia were so welcoming and kind, which made the stay even more memorable. It’s an experience that stays with you well beyond the night.
The team made me feel at home, always welcoming, kind, and ready to help, and their service made the stay feel extra special. Veluvana Bali Bamboo House was peaceful, clean, and so beautiful it felt like a dream. I was thrilled with everything, especially the lovely setting for photos. My expectations were exceeded, and I can’t think of a better stay. If you want something distinctive, relaxing, and memorable, I’d highly recommend it. I’ll definitely return! 🤍🌴✨
The hosts, including Lia, were quick to respond in the WhatsApp group and kept things running smoothly. I had the best breakfast, and the food was delicious. After arranging a floating breakfast and a two-hour Balinese massage, I can say both were incredible and unforgettable. The views were beautiful, and although I was a little unsure about being outdoors, I didn’t get bitten by a single mosquito. At night, the place looks lovely all lit up. It was my last night in Bali and became one of my favorite stays. The welcome drink and cold towel at check-in were a nice touch.
