OYO 233 Hotel Global Inn

I stayed one night in August 2019 because of a late flight. The hotel is near Juanda Airport and easy to spot from the double road. I came from Stasiun Waru and took an ojek online there, a fairly short trip costing no more than IDR 20K. I also walked with my partner from Juanda T2 before we decided to order the ride. Check-in was quick. The polite, kind staff member helped me; I gave the booking code and name, left my identity card as a guarantee, then got the key and wifi password. I was on the first floor. The room smell seemed normal to me, though not to my partner, and the amenities were fairly complete. The wifi wasn't very stable, so sometimes I had to use my own data. There wasn't enough toilet paper. My partner asked the receptionist twice, but he said there was no more, so they may need to stock extra for guests who need it. The AC was normal, but the hot shower wasn't hot according to my partner. We complained, and the receptionist said everything was okay. I compared prices across some OTAs before booking, and OYO had the best offer. It's suitable for solo travelers, couples, and people with late night or transit flights because of the distance to Juanda Airport. People selling food are easy to find nearby, though it's Indonesian food only.

It's hard to find, even though it's not that far from the airport. My room had ants everywhere, too many mosquitoes and dust on the table. The staff seemed less responsible, and I had to keep asking about things the hotel should provide. The towel looked old and dirty, and it was grey instead of white. Breakfast was pathetic: nasi goreng with a piece of omelet, but the rice looked strange and tasted bad.

It's a budget option in Semambung, near Bungurasih (Purabaya) Terminal and Juanda International Airport. The facilities match the price. It may not be as fancy as nearby hotels, but it's a good choice if you want a budget hotel.

The AC and shower were good, and the wifi was good enough. The linen was worn and needs replacing. The airport is a 10 minute drive away.
