Good price, location, and staff, and I’ll come back once they fix the bathroom. We stayed in three different rooms and found the same issues in each one: the odd tub leaks, won’t hold water, and smells like gas from the drain. It should be replaced with a washbasin sink so there’s somewhere to brush and wash. The bathroom door is flimsy too, and its latches don’t work.

We left our car in the large, gated parking lot while flying out, and felt it was safe there. Dewata is about 2.5 km from YIA, walkable if you don’t have luggage. Our room was clean, new, air-conditioned, and had windows. The staff were polite and quick to help. They speak a little English, and we were happy to use Google Translate together. Everything went smoothly, and we appreciated our stay.

For $9, the room and bathroom were way nicer than I expected. This was a rest stop on my way from the west to Yogya, and it’s the fanciest, cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in all of Indoensia, as well as the nicest place I’ve found at that price. There’s a big bed, a cute private washroom with a shower and toilet, windows with a nice view, a big screen with YouTube, room service, and reception open 24 hours. The staff were respectful and adorable. Thank you!!!
