The manager was kind and helpful, carrying our luggage, telling us where we could get food delivered, and offering airport pickup and drop-off for 50,000 Rupiah with a promise to be on time. The room and bathroom were fairly clean, and there was hot water, though there was no outside view. The shared kitchen, on the other hand, was dirty and messy. At first I was confused because it felt more like an ordinary boarding house, with no reception desk or staff waiting there. The manager was assigned to look after the place but wasn't always in the front living room. I checked in at 5:00 PM and found my room wasn't ready; the sheets still had to be put on. I'd also missed that I'd booked a fan room. Thankfully, I could switch to an AC room for an extra 20,000 Rupiah. It worked for a one-night stop before an early flight. The room was small, with a 120 cm bed for two, one pillow, one bolster, and no blanket. The bathroom was small too. The jet shower was to the left of the toilet, awkward if you're not left-handed.

We got to the accommodation at 2 a.m. after booking and paying for two rooms for two days, but there were no rooms left. The lady and gentleman gave explanations that didn't make sense, including that we'd paid too little. That's not my concern. I'd reserved rooms, and they'd sold them to someone else. If the place is full, management should update the app so people can't book it. The explanation we got was just bizarre. This is not about money. We'd come a long way, thought the place looked nice, and chose it. Their service was a zero, with a very high-pitched tone that seemed to make light of us having nowhere to sleep unless we paid more for another hotel. Early that morning we had to search again, and everything was full, so we ended up at IBIS HOTEL. Think carefully before staying here. I'd rather pay a little more than go through this. To the owner, please hire people with experience and knowledge in this field so the business can progress. If you can't run an inn, don't open one before learning how. The mother and father were barking at us 🔥

The location is tucked into a residential area, quite far from the airport and not easy to find. We had reserved two rooms for two nights that afternoon and paid in full, but after our long journey we couldn't get straight to bed because the rooms weren't ready. The service was very poor. When we complained, the person there said he only managed the hotel and contacted the owner through WhatsApp. Once the owner arrived, we asked why our booked rooms weren't available. He said fan rooms cost 100,000 Rupiah and air-conditioned rooms 150,000 Rupiah. We told him the price wasn't the problem; the rooms were full even though the app showed availability. He repeated the price explanation at least three times while we kept explaining the issue, then suddenly said he wasn't the owner. My advice is to find a younger employee who understands the app. Don't put a woman who only communicates through WhatsApp in charge of admin. Otherwise, take a course on the digital media used for transactions and business.

It felt like being at home, with a clean place, reasonable prices, and friendly management. There just aren't many shops or food stalls around yet. Hope the place keeps doing well.
