Novotel Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo

Breakfast was the biggest letdown during our five nights at Novotel Yogyakarta International Airport. For a 4-star hotel and a stay that long, both the selection and quality fell well short of expectations. Staff coordination and communication also need work, particularly for airport pickup and getting consistent information. The two Executive Rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location close to the airport was convenient for flights. The water dispensers around the corner from the rooms were especially practical and eco-friendly, since we could refill bottles whenever we wanted. The city is about an hour away, so this isn't ideal if most of your plans are in central Yogyakarta. Amenities were basic. All in all, it was an okay stay, neither memorable nor a major problem.

A relative left his phone by the entrance when we checked out and only noticed hours later. Pak Elang and the staff searched carefully and managed to find it. That kind of attitude matters. Pak Elang Firdaus had also made sure our airport pickup was smooth and on time, and he responded very quickly whenever we needed something during the stay. Everyone was hospitable. Rifaldi was especially helpful and accommodating, and made the trip better than I expected. The hotel's atmosphere, room, breakfast, and service were all wonderful. The whole experience was extremely good.

The lobby is spacious, and the hotel is near the airport. The room and bed were comfortable, as you'd expect from Novotel. Breakfast was okay, though the egg station was a bit slow and missed some orders. Still, it was a good experience overall.
