The rooms felt run down and needed a proper clean. Our room phone didn't work, and the outdoor shower was full of mosquitoes. We also found black mould on pots and many surfaces around the resort. The pool was worse, with black mould on the steps and green algae across the walls and floor. The pool and room towels smelled like they hadn't been washed properly or left to dry long enough. We had booked three nights in Rooms 301 and 302, but left after just two hours. We accidentally left food in the fridge, and when we returned it had disappeared, though nobody took responsibility. We weren't offered a refund. Their denial about the mould was a joke, just a shrug and denial. We thought we'd found a little local hotel for a short stay in Lovina, so this was a big disappointment. Do not book.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the pool was nice. Breakfast was delicious, with both local and Western choices and an omelette bar. The staff were very friendly. The only problem was gaps around the windows and doors that let mosquitoes in. I'd suggest sealing them or putting mosquito nets over the beds.

The place is right on the water, which is great, but that's the only real plus. The room was dirty and damaged, with peeling paint and electrical issues. The fridge was filthy, and neither the phone nor the safe worked. No refund. Don't stay here.

We were meant to stay three nights, but the condition was so bad we couldn't stay. There were holes in the walls with power hanging out, a filthy fridge, and black mould in the pool. It felt very dangerous, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They refused a refund, saying, “Sorry, that is not our policy.”

Low season meant there were hardly any other guests, so the staff had time to chat with us 😊 The service was excellent. It's a traditional Bali hotel with a gorgeous dining room, big rooms, and great wifi.
