We spent a month in apartment 3 at the back of the property. It’s very spacious and quiet, with good privacy. It was reasonably clean, though the windows and frames needed a proper deep clean. The place also needed some maintenance. We had a bathroom ceiling leak, which they did try to repair during our stay. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for a long stay, but it was manageable, and there’s plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom. The apartment had a sofa, fridge/freezer, a few random cupboards, a table and chairs, and a kitchen with the basics. A toaster and microwave would have been useful, but we managed. The WiFi wasn’t always reliable or strong. If you ask Wiwid or another on-site staff member, they’ll restart it for you. The Airbnb had just changed to new ownership while we were there. We met the new owner, who was really lovely and seemed set on getting everything repaired and in order, so the issues will likely be resolved by the time someone else stays. Yoga manages the Airbnb and is very responsive and helpful, passing any problems or requests to the owner/Wiwid. Wiwid works on site until 4pm daily. He’s very sweet and takes care of things like fresh towels. There’s a lovely pool on site, with tanning beds for enjoying the sun and swimming in privacy. Next door, a local warung sells basics like water, soft drinks, hair masks, and other little things. The owners are absolutely lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Lovina has limited Grab service, especially taxis, so you’ll need a bike. We rented one from a local down the road. I won’t share the details because it was pretty battered, though thankfully it got us around safely enough. You should visit Me Jineng Restaurant, a three-minute scooter ride away if you turn left out of the gate. It had only been open for a month, and is simple but beautiful, with lovely service and warm, friendly staff. It opens at 4pm. The food is locally sourced, made fresh to order, and scrumptious. Despite the minor maintenance problems, which were dealt with right away, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
