We were woken at 6 in the morning by kids screaming in the pool. I tried to get back to sleep for over an hour, then had to ask their parents to keep the noise down. I’d suggest not letting children use the pool that early, or asking them to be considerate of guests who are still sleeping. Apart from that, the location was excellent, with a short walk to the beach and a beachside walk all the way to the Dolphin statue. Our very spacious room had a nice outdoor area, a fridge outside, good air conditioning, a roomy bathroom, and a safe. There was also a lovely pool with sun loungers.

The price, room, and location all deserve five stars. Our bungalow, more like a small villa, was spacious and quiet, and the staff were very helpful. The beach was only a minute away on foot, and Lovina town centre took about ten minutes to reach. There were also lots of very good, inexpensive restaurants just a three-minute walk away. We had a great stay at Kartika villa and highly recommend it.

We had a good holiday feel at this villa on a family trip. We booked three rooms and had access to two pools, one large and one round pool for kids. There was also a kitchen, coffee bar, dining room, family room with a big TV, and a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. For all those facilities, the affordable price was the best part. 👍

We had our most relaxing time in Bali here. Our poolside rooms were great, the beach was close, Ayu was a hospitable owner, and the staff were wonderful. We also got to know some locals on the beach, including Christian "Dior," who sold silver, and found an excellent German deli at the top of the road with amazing cheeses. So many lovely memories to keep. It’s an amazing place and great value for money, and we highly recommend it.

A private dipping pool was the icing on the cake, and the villas were cozy, charming, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. The staff were very friendly, and prices were reasonable. It’s a two-minute walk to the beach, in a rustic, laid-back neighborhood. Loved it!
