The staff were very kind and helpful, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere with plenty of breakfast choices: Indonesian, European, Western or Continental, plus coffee, juice and a fruit platter. The place is close to the beach and other things you might need. We had a second-floor room with a lovely mountain view to wake up to, and it was clean, but a lot of the furnishings felt worn. Water pressure in the bathroom was almost nonexistent, and the bathroom fixtures were a bit grimy. At night we had to use our headlamp to read because the only two lights were in opposite corners, both quite harsh, with no bedside lights. The bed creaked loudly whenever either of us lay down or changed position, enough to wake the other person.

We only came for dinner, not an overnight stay. It’s a quiet little spot tucked off the main road, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My partner’s grilled fish had been caught that day and was beautiful. The chicken satay I ordered was among the best I’ve had in Bali. They also brought free garlic bread to start. Definitely worth checking out.

I didn’t stay, just had a look around. It’s a pretty little boutique-style place with a Balinese feel and a small cafe, tucked down a quiet alley. The main drawback is that there’s no pool, though I’m sure you can use a neighboring one since they often arrange that.

The pizza here is really delicious, and the nightly price is cheap. Service was good, and the place has a classic Balinese style. The bathroom water was a little dirty, and parking space is limited if you arrive by car. You’re very close to the beach for sunset.
