The room and bathroom were okay, and the AC worked well. I couldn’t get the TV going, though. The pool looked milky, and then I found out they hold swimming classes in the afternoon. There’s no restaurant or beer, just a room service menu. Food choices nearby are limited, and at the beach at the end of the road there was nothing open, not even the warungs. It’s a quiet spot, fine for one night and good for the price, but there’s little to do nearby besides karaoke.

We watched some of Bali’s best sunsets at the local beach, only about 200 metres away. The deluxe room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and it had a fridge, kettle, good air con, hot shower water, a drying rack for doing laundry, and a private patio with seats. The staff were friendly, the price was great, and we met some of the best people on the island here. Highly recommended. A tip: book a regular Reddoorz Room, then upgrade to a Deluxe Room when you arrive. The difference in quality is huge for the extra cost.

Good value for the money, especially if you’re on a budget. The staff are nice and helpful, and the place is clean. AC worked, there’s a shower and a swimming pool, and the sea is nearby. The location is good too. All fine, fair enough.

The cheaper rooms are a good option for a couple of nights at that price, and the pricier ones by the pool look much nicer. One odd thing in the cheaper rooms: there’s no bathroom sink, and a mirror is placed right in front of the room’s only window.

It may be cheap, but the pool is murky and the rooms smell and feel dirty. The linen is grim, and there’s mould on the ceilings. You’re stuck in a windowless box, about a 15 minute grab bike ride from the city. I’d avoid it.
